We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and solution-oriented team leader for our team of 10+ Process Engineers.

In this role, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly within the Process Engineering department. You will lead the team, working closely with Jehan, our Manager Engineering. Below you will get an insight into what you will be doing:

• You create a pleasant working environment for your team members, in which professional growth and job satisfaction are key;
• You make sure that everyone is efficiently deployed; the right person, in the right place and at the right time;
• You draw up an annual plan for the department and, of course, you also keep an eye on whether everything goes according to plan;
• When necessary, you lend a hand to the sales department in winning projects;
• Together with your team, you design purification installations based on Paques technologies. You also draw up the corresponding protocols and manuals;
• You ensure that your team members will help start up the installations;
• You take care of directing troubleshooting, consultancy and service assignments including reporting and presentation;
• You keep the engineering guidelines up to date in the appropriate documents and systems, continuously review them, make improvement proposals and implement improvements.
• You ensure that all necessary safety measures are complied with, think of issues around CE, ATEX and SIL.

In short, you have a key role in keeping the Process Engineering department running smoothly and successfully!

• You have 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience;
• You have at least a completed HBO education, e.g. chemical technology;
• You have strong social, communication and leadership skills;
• You put both people and technology in their strengths, which requires knowledge and understanding of both aspects.
• You’re proficient in at least the Dutch and English language, in speech as well as in writing.
