Roles & responsibilities

  • Proposes a draft sales plan for your own region with size and specification of sales and margin / licenses. Also proposes a concept marketing plan, or provides input for the marketing plan.
  • After approval, implements the regional sales plan and the sales strategy, realizes the sales targets according to turnover and margin, possibly indirectly / partly through licensees (distributor / agency)
  • Maintains an extensive network of relevant relations / prospects and expands this further.
  • To this end, participates in various meetings, actively approaches and visits possible prospects.
  • Generates leads, discusses Paques' portfolio and provides explanations of (im) possibilities.
  • Realizes Gate-keeping (acceptance and refusal) of applications on commercial grounds and foreseeable risks.
  • Follows the status of outstanding offers actively and in close consultation with customers. Lost obstacles and, if required, provide feedback internally.
  • After acceptance, hands over the project to project management and consults with project management. Is, in this phase, involved in deviations from or uncertainties about the sale. Follows the progress and maintains (in this phase extensive) contact with the customers
  • Contributes to consideration for application and / or maintenance of patents.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and support a team. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members and clients.
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, with experience in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of sales processes, techniques, and strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans. Skilled in analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information, negotiate deals, and interact with clients and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Experience with CRM software and techniques to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and find solutions to improve sales processes and outcomes.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and company goals.
  • Educational Background: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications or training can also be beneficial.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, software, and technology relevant to the industry.
